If Engage decides that a contact needs to be excluded from a campaign Send (also referred to as just "Send/s") today, it's possible to re-evaluate later whether that contact needs to be excluded/included from that Send. After all, the decision to include/exclude a contact is always time-sensitive; as it depends on other Sends happening in the days before/after the other Send.
If you want to re-evaluate a contact after it has been excluded from a Send, add another Engage journey builder component on the Oversaturated branch of the previous Engage component, after a wait component. Make sure the second component is configured to evaluate for the same Engage Send.
You can use path joins to keep the journey as simple as possible, as in the image below.
In this example, the contact will remain in the wait component in the journey for 2 days before hitting the second DESelect Engage component. You can put in as many retries as you wish. It's strongly recommended to use journey path joins to not overcomplicate the journey.
