Can I copy my Selection?

Yes! A user can copy a Selection to the same or different folder/location in the same Business Unit. Additionally, a Selection can be copied to any of the Business Units that you have access to (only available in DESelect Segment Advanced Edition).

Copying a Selection in DESelect Segment is useful for reusing the same criteria across different campaigns, saving time, and ensuring consistency. Additionally, it serves as a safeguard, enabling experimentation without affecting the original Selection.

1. Click on the "Action" icon  >  "Copy Selection".

2. Name the copied Selection, and if you would like to copy the Target Data Extension, toggle on and name your Target Data Extension. It is also possible to change the folder location of your Data Extension.

If you don’t create a copy of the Target Data Extension, the Target Data Extension from the original Selection will be used instead.

3. Click on the "Copy" button.

You can also change the location where your Target Data Extension will be stored.

4. A copy of your Selection will be available on the main Selection page.
