Why is DESelect Segment loading slowly after logging in?

Some users may experience slow performance when accessing the DESelect Segment right after logging in. This can be frustrating, especially if you only want to quickly jump into your Selections. Below are some common reasons why the overview page may take longer to load, and what you can do to improve the experience.

Possible causes:

• Internet Connection Speed -  slow or unstable internet connection is one of the most common reasons for delayed page loading. High latency, bandwidth limitations, or frequent packet loss can cause web pages to take longer to load or fail to load completely.
• VPN or Proxy Usage - if you’re connected through a VPN or corporate proxy, your traffic is being routed through additional servers. While this adds a layer of security, it can also increase latency and slow down login or page rendering.
• Browser Performance and Version - outdated browsers or those overloaded with extensions can cause significant slowdowns. Some add-ons run background scripts that interfere with page rendering or network requests.
• Cache and Cookies - over time, cached files and cookies can become outdated or corrupted, leading to longer loading times or unexpected errors.
