Both Microsoft Teams and Slack offer a feature that generates an email address for each channel.
This allows you to send error notifications directly to a specific channel (Teams or Slack), ensuring that your team is promptly alerted to any errors encountered in DESelect Segment.
In addition, by setting up email integration with Microsoft Teams or Slack, you can streamline error notifications and enhance your team's ability to respond quickly to issues.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set this up for both platforms.
For Slack
- Launch the Slack application
- Create the channel where you want to receive error notifications and add the necessary stakeholders.
- Once created, click on the Send emails to channel button
- Slack then generates a unique email address that you can copy.
- Add the email address to DESelect Segment > Admin Panel > Settings > Notifications. See this article for the step-by-step instructions on how to do this.
