Filter Sets can be organized in Categories so that they will appear together when expanding the Filter Set Category in the Filter Sets tab in the Selection Criteria step.
Filter Sets are predefined sets of Filters that can be created based on an individual Data Extension or a Data Set and its available fields.
Scenario
There are 2 departments in the same BU (Business Unit): one dealing with clients in the BENELUX (BENELUX stands for BElgium, NEtherlands, LUxembourg) and the other dealing with clients not in the BENELUX. For our scenario, we will create a category named Non BENELUX so that any Filter Set created for this department can be organized under this category.
1. Go to the Admin Panel > Filter Sets tab > Manage Categories
2. Enter the name of the new category. In our scenario we'll create 2: Non BENELUX, and BENELUX. Once a category has been added, it will be listed below and you can still edit or delete it by selecting the corresponding button behind it. Click on Close when done adding all your categories.
You can now add Filter Sets and add them to each of these categories.
3. Now, when you use Filter Sets inside a Selection, you'll see them organized inside the categories we defined.
