Depending on the location where you are, you are probably thinking about how Daylight Saving Time is taken into consideration in DESelect?
For now, Daylight Saving Time is not applied automatically. For example, when converting a date or date and time from one time zone to another.
Let's say that you have a PST time zone which is normally UTC + 7, however, when the Daylight Saving Time struck, PST becomes 1 hour behind. If you are converting date and time to PST during Daylight Saving Time, your date and time will not be converted as expected.
In this case, DESelect suggests that you convert your data into a time zone that corresponds to your Daylight Saving Time. Given the example earlier, instead of converting a time zone to PST (UTC + 7), convert it to UTC + 8 to adjust with the Daylight Saving Time.
