To start using Scheduled Selections you need to install an additional Installed Package in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Note: installing this additional Installed Package only makes sense if you already have DESelect Segment installed.
This second Installed Package allows DESelect Segment to connect to Salesforce Marketing Cloud at any time (instead of only when users are logged in) so that it can guarantee executing tasks at scheduled times.
This Installed Package needs to be installed manually via the following instructions (note: you'll need admin permissions to perform these steps):

- Go to Setup > Platform Tools > Apps > Installed Packages > New
- Enter the following details:
- Name: DESelect Automations
- Description:
DESelect Segment Installed Package for Server 2 Server Authentication
- Click on: Add Component
- Choose: Api Integration
- Click Next
- Choose: Server-to-Server
- Click Next
- In the next screen, enable the checkboxes next to the following permissions:
- Automation > Automations:
- Read
- Write
- Execute
- Automation > Journeys:
- Read
- Write
- Execute
- Activate/Stop/Pause/Resume/Send/Schedule
- Contacts > List and Subscribers:
- Read
- Write
- Data > Data Extensions:
- Read
- Write
- Automation > Automations:
- Click Save
- Click on the Access tab on top of the screen
- Toggle on the Enable integration button for ALL business units in which DESelect Segment is used.
